Tuesday, February 9, Tie Dye Day

Yummy corn tortillas!   Karen being treated to a gluten free breakfast.

Chef extraordinaire, Bonnie is preoparing another delicious lunch for the weary team.  It is cool and rainy so this hot meal is most welcome.

Today, Tie-dying T-shirts is our craft with the children at the children's home.  They we very serious and enjoyed the activity very much.  They can't wait to see their finished product in a couple days.  Currently there are 22 children at the home, room for two more.T

The Jeppsons are constructing frames for the concrete pillars.  Others are tying rebar and creating the support frames for these pillars.

Ann is tying rebar towers together.  Yes, it is precarious, sitting on a board about 8 feet up, straddling the rebar and trying to avoid the wires hanging out.  She managed to escape with only a scratch.

Marilyn attempting a decent from the scaffolding.  Hang on, Marilyn!

Whoops.....repeat.

Upon arrival back at our lodging, the green roof, we were, again, blessed with a very large rainbow.  We enjoy rainbows most mornings at the children's home.

A very successful day of work despite the misty rain/sun.
Dianne and Donna
